The Grand Hotel, Birmingham is a Grade II listed Victorian building in the heart of Birmingham City Centre. The iconic building, which was originally built in 1879, overlooks the city’s prestigious Colmore Row, and, in the past, it welcomed guests including King George VI, Winston Churchill and Charlie Chaplin.
The redevelopment of the Grand Hotel consisted of refurbishing the original building into a luxurious 185 room hotel including two penthouses, The Grand Ballroom, lobby lounge cocktail bar and restaurant. The Grand Hotel has a combination of original Victorian Architecture with striking modern features.
The Grand Hotel opened its doors to guests in May 2021 – a “Sleeping Beauty” had finally awoken.
