Dublin Airport – Terminal 2

Oakleaf worked approximately half a million man hours on this major project without one reportable incident to the Health and Safety Agency. At the time, this was Ireland’s single largest construction site. The project involved a 75,000m2 terminal building, incorporating passenger and baggage processing, security screening, over 9,000m2 of retail outlets and a new 25,000m2 pier.  Terminal 2 opened in November 2010 as a critical element in Ireland’s national transport infrastructure being praised for its innovative design and quality of finish. Oakleaf proudly received the FPDC “Drylining commercial contracts over £1m” in UK & Ireland award for quality of works carried out on this project.

In addition to the main T2 contract & Pier E Oakleaf completed numerous fit-out contracts including:

Etihad Lounge

This executive lounge will welcome business & premier club class travelers arriving from the middle east.

Hanger 2 (Ryanair):

Included specialist details to incorporate client requirement for security and sound proofing.

Hanger 6 (Aerlingus):

Included a fast track programme and consists of partitions, drylining & suspended ceilings with some feature bulkheads.

Retail Units:

These included Jo Malone, Wrights of Howth, Airport Pharmacy & Hugo Boss
