The new second terminal at Dublin Airport will be capable of comfortably handling up to 15 million passengers per year. The terminal is designed to meet the needs of both long-haul and short-haul passengers and airlines. This 75,000 square metre three storey curvilinear building designed specifically with travellers' needs in mind makes use of natural light, creates a bright airy space for passengers that is calm and relaxing. A new departures building, Pier E also completed perpendicular to the new terminal, will provide boarding gates and parking for up to 19 aircraft.
