| The new second terminal at Dublin Airport (T2) will cost an estimated €395m at current prices and will be capable of comfortably handling up to 15 million passengers per year. The terminal is designed to meet the needs of both long-haul and short-haul passengers and airlines. |
| |
T2 will be a 75,000 square metre three storey curvilinear building designed specifically with travellers’ needs in mind. Making use of natural light, it will create a bright airy space for passengers that are calm and relaxing. A new departures building, Pier E being constructed perpendicular to the new terminal, will provide boarding gates and parking for up to 19 aircraft. T2 is expected to be complete in April 2010 with Fit-Out works commencing thereafter |
