What is Light Gauge Steel Framing System? |
|
|
| |
Light gauge steel framing refers to the use of precision roll-formed steel studs to create the framing structure of any building. The efficient construction method provides a strong and tight building package and lends itself to green building practices, as steel is 100% recyclable. Galvanised steel framing also offers contractors a material that does not warp, and is both waterproof and fireproof. Many multi unit buildings can be constructed from light gauge steel framing e.g. schools, hospitals, hotels, offices, residential and other commercial mid level buildings. |
