Ordering plasterboard to size that minimises the cuts and therefore the waste |

Ensuring that the cuts that are produced are of such a size that the can be re-used somewhere else on the project. This in turn reduces the level of housekeeping on site as there is less material to be gathered up and discarded. |

We employ a 'just-in-time' policy of delivering material, such that excessive amounts of materials are not stored on site and therefore will not be open to subsequent damage. |

We engage, when required, waste management consultants to help manage the disposal and recycling of our waste in accordance with leading industry practices. These specialists provide onsite collection service and a fully traceable legal transfer documentation policy. |

Oakleaf can provide a 30 cu yd skip for the disposal of Plasterboard and metal for recycling. The skip will be covered and left onsite for the duration of the contract, and emptied weekly by specially adapted hiab lorry. This will reduce CO2 emissions by 60% |
